I didnt notice the 4.50 shipping charge per item. I ordered 4 sd cards and Im being charged $18.00 for shipping. It seems excessive since they all will fit in one envelope. I could have bought them cheaper at Wal-mart.

If an offer seems too good to be true, it usually is. The price for this 1GB SD card (sold and shipped from ChiTek) is only $1.30... wow, pretty good, right? WELL... just to see what the shipping would be I went into checkout for 6 of these and 4 of the 1GB microSDs at $2.33 each, also from ChiTek, so you know theyll ship them together. Heres what came up (copied and pasted from actual check out page) - thank goodness I didnt accidentally hit "PLACE ORDER":

Now, I understand that $85 isnt a bad price for what totals 10GB of storage, but thats not the point. $65.39 TO SHIP 10 LITTLE TEENY CARDS IN WHAT WOULD PROBABLY BE A SINGLE YELLOW BUBBLE-WRAP ENVELOPE??? I dont care what they put them in - thats ludicrous. They didnt combine the shipping charges, but theyll put them all in the same envelope or box (was standard ground shipping, btw) for less than $10 and pocket the other $55. ChiTek wants to pull you in with a great price in hopes that youll want to buy a bunch to stock up and wont pay attention at check out to the total. Bad business, guys, really bad business.

After 1 week of use the screen had a huge blot on it, we had to send it back BIG BUMMER. Please just make products that work.

The camara works OK, but there are three things that could be better:

1) The brightnes of the screen is not Ok, when you are outside you almost cant see the picturs taken.

2) The time between shots is to long.

3) There is somthing strange with the battery compartment and battery placment.

I was amazed to see such a good image quality in a camera under $100, the only drawback is that it doesnt include a rechargable battery.

Kodak makes a pretty good camera, but its priced at least $100 more than an equally capable Sony or Canon, with the same or better features, although only Canon has one in pink.

My real problem isnt with the camera, its with their software. On a PC running Windows, the Kodak software is highly intrusive and it eventually clogs up the the computer with background routines that dont need to be running all the time. And, their software is particularly difficult to remove (similar to Norton Utilities).

The camera is well built, but should have a viewing lens for outdoor use,
as the display screen is hard to see outside in the glare and it sucks down the battery life very fast.

If you choose to buy it, I strongly recommend not installing their software on your computer.

I bought this camera for my daughter for Christmas. It is now only the begining of March and it is already completly broken. It has not functioned correctly since we first purchased it. I have tried numerous types of batteries and still keep having camera failure! $100 is a lot of money to just throw away on JUNK! I will NEVER purchase a Samsung product again!

This Samsung S860 is my first serious camera since someone stole my hi-end Pentaxes 13 years -- and a whole technology -- ago. Therefore, I had zero experience with digital photography.

So I bought this camera in pink, hoping that pink would make it less attractive to the macho thieves of South America, where I took it on vacation. No one stole it. Learning the basics, I took about 300 pictures in a month. Some of them were awful but that was mostly me. It wants to take good pictures, you just have to learn how to let it do so, read the manual, stuff like that. It also took some very hard travel knocks and kept working. The view screen is a bit dim in bright light, but you learn to shade it with your hand. My first set of AA batteries lasted me over 120 pictures. Still a record. It wont work at all on lesser batteries than top-end alkalines. The computer download software looked hinky but works fine. It cost me $80 with a 2 gig chip. Its not a Canon but it takes pictures just as easily and as good as my partners ELPH does and cost me 40 percent as much.

we bought the pink version for my wife, we used it inside for about a week then brought it to our grand daughters for a trip to the park. there is no "look through" view finder, only the lcd panel and in outdoors conditions such as bright sunlight, the lcd washes out and becomes non viewable. you have to look over the top of the camera and guess at the shot. VERY POOR PRODUCT FOR A RENOWN COMPANY.

This camera is lovely, the pictures are blurry because you have to give the screen a chance to adjust, read the manual and test the camera out you will be suprised how good the camera actually is. Most bad reviews are from people who dont take there time. This is the best camera out. I LOVE IT........
