tried a number USB cigarette lighter adapters with a USB cable for my Motorola Q but none of them really charged my phone properly. for an adapter to charge the phone properly you should be able power your phone without the battery installed. this adapter does this and now when i use my phone to stream internet radio during my morning drive my battery stays charged and isnt prematurely drained for the day

The phone store wanted double what I found this charger for on here. Plus amazon had my charger in a double pack so now I have one for the other car and dont have to keep moving and losing the one.
It is just like the one the store here sells, my phone doesnt know the difference, and I love saving the money. Keep up the good work Amazon!!!
